One of my favorite things to do before the pandemic was hanging out at a coffee shop. I used to love hanging out, drinking coffee, and writing on my laptop.
I used to enjoy telling jokes to the people who worked there and sometimes fellow customers. Some examples:
When I would see someone reading their bible, I would walk by and say, “I read that book. Jesus wins in the end. Oh sorry I gave away the ending.”
If student nurses were studying, I would walk by and say, “please remember me so if you are ever my nurse in a hospital, you can remember to bring me ice cream.”
When I would hang out at coffee shops, I only drank my coffee black, none of that fancy stuff for me. I do not like to pollute my coffee.
One day I will be able to return to my favorite coffee shops. It has been 10 long months since I last was able to do so. How I miss thee my favorite coffee shops.
Thank you for reading. God Bless.
Those are funny jokes.π I miss drinking coffee. I use to put a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream in my coffee. Haven’t been able to drink coffee since Celiac. Hope you can get back to hanging out at your local shop soon. Blessings!
Can you drink tea?
I can’t drink caffeinated tea. I suppose I could drink herbal tea, but I don’t like it.
Me tooβ
They are fun
Really funny!ππ
I love coffee too.
It would be fun to meet with fellow bloggers in a coffee shop π€
I miss coffee shops too. I like just a splash of coffee with my daily cream & sugar. How dare you call that pollution!! Youβre drinking plain tar! ππ
Love that you reach out to the strangers around you. People who do that always brighten my day!

Bless you, Matt. Isolation from others has to be the most difficult part of this last 10 months for most of us… It’s not easy to find substitute ways to include and to stay in touch, but it’s crucial we do.
I imagine the coffee shops miss you too! π
We do need connection with people
